We carry out full villa renovations, updated installations, kitchens and bathrooms, and home automation so you can control the house remotely. We know Altea town hall's procedures and the usual permit timescales.
What an Altea property usually needs
Most of our work here is on hillside villas from the eighties and nineties: original wiring with no circuit-level protection, iron or polybutylene plumbing, aluminium windows with no thermal break, and a bathroom built around a bath nobody uses. A sensible renovation starts underneath — electrics and water — and the kitchen and bathrooms follow. Refinishing the surface over a forty-year-old installation is money thrown away.
The old town is a different job
Houses in Altea's old town are narrow, the stairs are brutal and the streets are pedestrian, so no lorry gets close. There the schedule is set by logistics, not by the building work: where materials can be stored, how rubble gets out and which hours allow loading. We check that on the first visit, because it drives the price as much as the square metres do.

Do I need a licence to renovate a villa in Altea?
For finishes, kitchen or bathrooms without touching the structure or the façade, a declaración responsable is usually enough. Opening new apertures, altering the envelope or extending means a full works licence and a longer timescale. We check it on the visit and handle the paperwork.
I live abroad and the house is empty. Can you still work?
Yes — that is half of what we do in Altea. We sign a fixed quote before starting, hold a key, give you one named contact, and send photos and video every week. Nothing outside the quote is carried out without your written approval.
